Those closest to us would always be the first to express their concern about our health. Although when I focus on something, my discipline - most of the time - goes along with it.
In the past, i have also blogged about my fitness and sports journey but realized that they were tied to a fitness or sports related advocacy or campaign I was promoting then. But once I accomplished my goal, I move forward to the next one.
Hence is the reason why I am also doing this blog series to constantly remind me of this commitment I am making. That this time - this is not for a client campaign or sports advocacy of a friend I supported - this is for myself, the people I care for, and the vision I want to achieve.

What does being healthy look like? (reflection 1)
Like many out there, I have my own ups and downs when it comes to personal fitness. At my lowest, I was at 99 pounds. At my heaviest, I reached 185 pounds.
I had varied reasons through the years such as:

- I am too busy at what I do.
- I can always start or get back tomorrow.
- I have body aches.
- I am not motivated.
and other reasons.....
We want to get healthy for a lot of reasons too. But I have one reason - "I want to serve and add value to others (family, loved ones, friends, peers, and folks wanting to learn)".
So being healthy is being able to do that with the necessary energy capacity to carry them out.
